So I decided that i didn't want the friendship because he doesn't know how to treat anyone. I'm ignoring his phone calls, being busy, and he's not getting the picture. And i can't talk to him and tell him i wan't out because he lacks inter-personal skills. What do i Do?

before ending the friendship, i told him several times that there are a few things bothering me, and he said he didn't care.....so i'm not going to sit down and tell him, beacuse he won't care.....relationships, friends, family etc. are NOT easy, what can i do?

If he's ignoring your kind and subtle hints up to this point, you'll have to talk to him if you really want him to back off. Best in person, but if it's easier over the phone, ok. Just say something like" I'm so busy now and we've grown apart in the last several months. I wish you the best ,but for now I'd be happier if we didn't see each other." If that fails, change your phone number and totally ignore him. Good luck.

I was in a similar situation with this guy who I like. At a point I just wanted to end our friendship because we both was two different people. I would do the same things that you are doing, ignoring the calls and not returning them. It came to a point where I told him that we should not be friends. What you can do is find it in yourself to sit him down and tell him how you feel. If he understands,he just needs to accept it, if he dont, dont worry about him anymore. Just continue living your life.

wow, sounds just like my ex best friend.
Be polite if you run into him, but stay distant. Always be busy if he wants to go do something, if he gets you in a situation you have to be around him, make sure you keep another friend around, don't let him get you alone, and clue in other friends to get you away from him whenever posible. Just keep ignoring. People who don't know how rude they are just often don't get it, theyu also will keep doing the same things wrong; they also pretend they aren't making mistakes and will contact you over and over pretending like nothing is wrong. Just keep ignoring.

The best thing that you can do for both yourself and your friend is to be completely honest with him. Tell him why you don't want to be his friend. It may make him think twice about his actions and maybe learn to treat people better, and it will make you be your true fearless self and a person of honor. Then maybe too, he will want to talk about it and you could be friends again.

Hang out with Friends... Be active... Keep doing what your doing...
Have someone who knows of him... to call him and tell him your not interested anymore and don't want hard feelings between you. Or eventually he will get the point... && just stop calling.

Continue to "be busy" when he calls or drops in. Even a caveman will get the message sooner or later. Hang in there!

Next time he calls say this::: "I want nothing more to do with you. Please stop calling." Hang up the phone. If it keeps up, tell him you will report him to the phone company for harassment. They will disconnect a phone if someone reports this. Trust me, he will stop. The End.
