Yes, it means that he doesn't want to get commited to you in any way at all. But sometimes it just takes time if you are willing to give it a chance.

I don't think he doesn't like you. If it's like my family, I get embarassed easily by my parents (then again who doesn't). My mom is cool about it but my dad just won't shut up about it.) Therefore if I ever get a gf, I won't be taking her to meet my parents for a while.

How long do you guys have together? If the relationship started, it takes time. If you guys have awhile, then he wants to make sure you're a special girl.

No it doesn't mean he doesn't like you maybe he is nervous to show you to his parents/friends. Ask him if you can meet them and if he says no just ask him 'why not?' if he says something like 'because' then you know that he is nervous. Just say to him he has nothin' to worry about and let you just meet them if they don't like you well that is their opinion not his and he should love you anyway.
