Cedar Point has been voted Best Amusement Park in the World like 8 times!!! If you get the opportunity, GO! It is the main park owned by Cedar Fare, who just bought out Paramount...they have 16 roller coasters which include the Top Thrill Dragster (120 mph) also the Millenium Force and the Power Tower as well as Max Air and Skyhawk (new ones). It is worth it if you like Roller Coasters. They also have a waterpark, but you'd have to get a combo pass or something. I have the great fortune of living pretty close to there so I go often. Best days to go are Tuesdays, Thursdays and I am told Fridays. You can go to the local supermarket around there Tops to get discount tickets...Though I don't know where around there that one exists...(I live near Cleveland, we have them a plenty) I think there's a Krogers near the mall in Sandusky that has discount tickets as well. You can also bring a Pepsi can at the gate. Get there early, leave late...it's soooo worth it!

GO.The park is amazing with a huge array of well designed and smooth roller coasters. They are home to the #1 coaster in the world (Amusement Today Golden Ticket Awards for 2005), Millennium Force as well as Raptor (voted 11th best) and Magnum XL200 (voted 3rd best). They also have several water rides, and thrill rides.

BUT, If you live a long way away and have no option of coming back I would wait till next summer. They are building a new roller coaster (the pieces are laying on the ground beside the Breakers Express hotel) and following their previous roller coaster's and ride's patterns it will be a record breaker in some way.

I visited Knott's Berry Farm today, which is a Cedar Point property now. It was hot and miserable, which of course the park couldn't control, but when we tried to go on rides, the first two consecutive rides went down after waiting in line for about 30 minutes each. We spent $35 per person to go, and only spent about three hours at the park. It will be a long, long time before I go back, and I used to love Knott's... It's sad how much money they rake in, and yet people go home disappointed....

If you have a chance to go to CP you MUST go! Try to go for AT LEAST 2 days. It is by far the best park in the US. Not alot of heavy themeing like the Disney parks but the rides are top notch! The park is well run and the coaster collection is AMAZING! We go every year. If you have the money rent a Lighthouse Point cottage or cabin. It will be crowded in July/Aug so expect hour waits for the major rides. CP is my favorite place on earth! Enjoy!

We live in the Theme park mecha of the world...central Florida....I would take Cedar Point over any of ours....we went in July 2005...wasnt as hot as here, wasnt as expensive (ours average $68 per person), our lines exceed an hour most times (we waited less than 20 - 30 minutes except on Top Fuel). I say go...have a great time!

We go every year, best roller coaster park on the planet by far. I've been to many, if you want to ride some of the tallest or fastest roller coasters in the world or you're roller coaster nut....you must go! They also have 68 other rides that aren't coasters....more than anywhere else in america at least. It's not like a carnival, it's very clean and amazing.

Cedar Point is the best amusement Park in the world according to experts. No amusement park has more roller coasters. It also reduced it's prices this year for admission. Check it out , you won't be disappointed.
It was rated #1.

What?
If you want to go...then what is

I don't know if I want to go?

Just go! Prepare to wait in line at least an hour for the better rides. When I was there people were batting around a beachball in a line waiting for a ride, and park security tackled somebody and took it away! Just kidding on the tackling part, but the rest is true!
