Politically? Unlikely.
However one of my 2 best friends is liberal and since the 3rd grade, we've often managed to find common ground. Sometimes there isn't much, but that tiniest patch can mean a lot. When finding political common ground is impossible, we put those politics aside and focus on the fact that 29 years of friendship is worth more than a political point.

Progressive??? The same thing caused the Roman Empire to collapse. Liberals, not Progressive...their is no forward progress, only dumbing down and becoming vulnerable.
