God I hope not... The only people who would hire them are other cross-dressers.

Sure! Why not? If he/she is a good secretary or maid, they should dress the part. The only problem might be the frequent trips to the "girl's" room. Men tend to get excited just by the softness of their panties, the tightness of their bras and the exquisite feeling of their nylon covered legs rubbing together and it makes it hard for them to concentrate on work. I've seen pictures of boys who make really pretty girls. I'd probably hire one if he was a real cutie.

If they're capable of preforming the job up to standard, why not? I'm sure some people would object, but then they're not very enlightened now are they? I'm certain it would have to be for just the right employer, and they should not hide being a cross dresser to get a job. I give any and all my support, but it's a tough road they walk.

It seems only very very open-minded employers will hire cross dressers. I worked at Walmart, and there was a trannie that worked customer service. She wasn't passable, so people knew she wasn't born a she, so lotta people complained. I think they must've told her she had to dress as a male, and couldn't wear make-up because she started looking different at work, and looking very unhappy. But whenever I saw her on the streets, or in the club, she seemed her usual happy self, and in her usual make-up and skirts. I knew a trannie who worked for Warner Bros. and apparently they have a very friendly LGBT work environment. Too bad more employers aren't like that.

I have seen it in the corporate world. We actually had this guy who stood up at a department meeting one day and told everyone he was a woman in a man's body and he was comfortable wearing women's clothes and would be doing so and hope that no one had objections to it. He was a secretary. Cool as hell and bravo to him.

Well, open-minded employers will probably eventually start hiring such individuals, thereby making more people open-minded and it will expand from there. I'd say yes...eventually, in the far future as our society's consiousness broadens.

In the UK, you occasionally hear of transvestites or transsexuals working in various jobs. In my old home town, I had heard of a teacher, a worker in a large insurance company, and someone in a bank. I didn't know these people personally, they were just in common knowledge.
