How did it happen ( did you miss a pill or was it not your fault)?

The Pill is NOT 100% fail safe
If you are on the pill you MUST take it EVERY DAY without missing any at the SAME TIME each day.
If you are on any type of antibiotics for any reason (ear infection, throat infection, urinary tract infection) then you need to complete ONE FULL CYCLE of taking birth control pills AFTER you finish taking the antibiotics. Antiobiotics drastically reduce the effectiveness of the birth control pill.
There is a small sheet of information inside EVERY package of birth control pills I suggest you READ IT CAREFULLY.
If you 100% do NOT want to get pregnant while on the pill you better be using back-up birth control EVERY TIME (condoms).

I got pregnant with my first child while I was on birth control. I wasnt being very careful though, I would miss pills here and there and sometimes take it late (you should take it at the same time every day)....so it was my own fault....but, if used correctly, and depending on which type of pill you are on, it can be up to 98% effective!!

I got pregnant while I was on the pill. I didn't miss a single pill either. I took it as a sign that I was supposed to be a mother.

I was on the pill when i got pregnant with my first son. I never missed a pill so how it happened i don't know. I was on the shots when i got pregnant with my second son. So don't exactly know what happened there either. All i know is after my second one i got a tubal....... LOL no more for me. And to think i didn't want kids LOL

my friend did get pregnant, and she did take the pill every day. (i worked with her and she took it at the same time each day, like clockwork!) she then got pregnant again 3 years later even with the depo shot. apparently, there is new research out that shows that certain pills (or certain dosages) are not as effective if you are overweight or even moderately overweight.
she now has 3 beautiful kids she wouldn't trade for the world, but it can and does happen!!

Yeah, friends of mine concieved their first while on the pill & using a condom! They were still uni students so weren't planning on kids at that stage. The second time round they ended up with twins! All 3 kids are gorgeous. If God wnats you to have a baby, no man made contraception is going to stop Him!

My best freind did.
She did not miss any pills or take any antibiotics but got pregnant on the pill twice.
She ened up having her tubes tied and no more after that.

I did. I don't remember missing a pill. You have to be carefull. Antibiotics and some herbal remedies can counteract the birth control. They also suggest that you take them at the same time everyday.

Not my fault, I was given a three day zithromax pack for a sinus infection, the pharmacy forgot to warn me antibiotics cancel out the pill

YES I have my daughter is 9 now....No I didn't never miss a pill and I took it at the same time everyday!! Plus the guy wore a condom....
