i dont no when to get them. cause im going into the 8th grade. and i really dont want them for 8th grade pictures. but if i get them afterwards. then i would definitely have them for highschool formal dances. freshmen pictures. prom pictures and all that.

You should get them ASAP, cause you don't wanna have them in grade 10 or 11. I got mine in grade 5. You will take A LOT more pictures for high school formal dances, freshmen pics, and prom pics. This one grade 8 picture won't make a difference compared to all the other special events. Just close your mouth in this pic.

This is really up to your parents and your orthodontist, but I'm glad you are involved in the process.
The sooner you start with your braces, the better. If you wait until you are 14 or 15, the bones in your upper palate will cement themselves in their permenant position. Correcting anything after that could involve surgery, especially BREAKING YOUR JAW. You REALLY don't want to go there!
Work with the bones in your mouth while they are still relatively mobile. The more you delay, the more it could hurt!
Who knows? Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones, who can have the invisilign braces. Brackets come in a variety of colors now, too. It all depends on what you need.

Get them whenever you need them. Your teeth must not be that bad if you haven't gotten them yet! I had mine on starting in 5th grade.
Don't worry about dances and whatnot. People think braces are awful or something, but they really aren't. Nobody really cares, and they really don't affect your social life.

You're supposed to get them when all your baby teeth fall out, as mine have. But personally i think they look horrid. So i think maybe i won't get them after all. I'm 14, btw. You're 13 right? Not very familiar with your schooling system.

get on with them right now. this is the very right time. If you get them now, they're not gonna haunt u in high skool n stuff. moreover i think they are pretty cool.
if u are soooo concious about the photographs, then just avoid the word Cheese.......a faint smile wud do. But do get them NOW

The sooner you get them, the sooner you will have straighter teeth. I would definetly tell you that getting it over now will be much easier than living through it all through high school.

When your parents are willing topay for them. $3,000 is a bit much for cosmetics.
