The screen isn't totally blue just a bluish tint. I can still operate the computer normally. I have tried adjusting the color, tint, etc. manually with no help.

you have the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH.

Check the connection to the back of the computer. Then check it behind the monitor, try moving the cable behind the monitor in different positions, I had a similar problem, cept with purpleness.

it is technically called blue screen. in many cases it is fixable. unfortunately in some cases you will lose your data.
take the following steps:
first of all try to find your information by DOS system, the old system that all Windows has it. to know how you can easily find information online.
if you cannot retreive your info through DOS , you have to restore your windows and you will lose all you have.
