An abscess cannot heal properly unless or until it drains - depending on the location and other factors, it may or may not drain properly even if it has opened up. Methods to accelerate the healing process include warm compresses, flushing with mild antiseptic or soap solution, placing a drain, debridement, and/or antibiotics. Some tissue may have become devitalized, which may complicate or delay healing. Have a professional evaluate it to determine the best approach.

Am not a doctor, but abscesses are NOT something to mess around with. If it is draining, you could be infectious to others - Get it cultured. Have you ever heard of MRSA? Not a laughing matter, and certainly nothing to ignore.

Not knowing where your abscess is located, the fact that you have one and further it is now open and the bacteria is allowed to enter your blood stream you could be opening yourself up to a condition called sepsis. Sepsis is fatal. Get to a doctor or emergency clinic as soon as possible so that they may prescribe strong anti-bots for you quickly.

One thing that may help the healing is echinacea root caspules. It boosts the immune system. As with most herbs, you need to be careful you're not allergic to it and it won't interact/interfer with any medicines you may already be taking.
Another things is a poultice to draw out the infection. Comfrey root used to be recommended for this, but it's fell out of favor with some. Marshmallow root (not the confection) is another poultice plant.

Go see a doctor. Abcesses are full of puss and you can't let al that bacteria into your blood stream. If the abcess is in your mouth, then rinse your mouth frequently with salty water.
