Just tell the person that you believe what you said to be the truth, but you should have kept your thoughts to yourself. If you don't actually want to say it face to face, send an email or call the person up.

1/2 pint you should appologize if it wasnt warranted or that you spoke of somthing that didnt concern you but if she litterally asked you to answer somthing or for your thoughts you as a friend are obligated to tell the truth no matter what, and should not say sorry but express your friendship and ask never to be put into that postion again.... good luck

I believe in following the spirit (in your heart), if you need to apologize to someone for what is said, then apologize...however, if you are going against your principles, apologizing will NOT bring you peace (as a matter of fact) it will only bring you more confusion in your life. Sometimes what we are led to say is called "TOUGH LOVE", it heart`s us to say it...however, it benefits the recipient.

well, that is a very selfish, reason to say sorry, you need to make peace with her and if your are really honest to your heart maybe, just maybe she will forgive you for what you said, and also appreciate the reality.

Saying sorry is not easy, but you need to swallow your pride and do it, you will feel tons better.
Maybe write this person a note if you are afraid to say it verbally.

Speak honestly about what you are feeling. Let this surface from your heart. Don't waste much time in rectifying this dilemma. Time is ticking away.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX we can always get our point across without being BLUNT. otherwise we wouldn't feel sorry afterwards. Talk to this person. I'm sure he or she is still feeling the dagger. It will make both of you feel better.

don't apologize without meaning it, it won't give you peace because the intent isn't real.
