The only way it would effect it is off you took it before a her period. After a week of being late have her take one again and go to the doctor.

If she's menstruating then it's more likely than not that she's not pregnant. most of the time women will not get their period if they're pregnant.

If you have your period why would you be taking a pregnancy test? If it is because you're scared, you still have to wait until you MISS a period to see if you are pregnant.

use a condom next time and you wont get a paranoid feeling
menstruation is natures way of flushing out the uterus when NO pregnancy has occurred

Dude. If she's menstruating, she's NOT pregnant. Menstruation is your body's way of saying, "no baby this month."

if she menstrates... she is most likely not pregnant.
it is possible to menstrate and still be pregnant but rare.
a kit should not effect it. since it detects stuff in her urine which comes out of a different hole.
