If you see a hotel or apartment advertising they have "High-Speed Internet" it doesn't neccessarily mean they have "Wi-Fi".
Although most hotels do offer wireless internet these days.

Could be wi-fi or could be a ethernet connection. Either way, it's pretty cool to surf the web while staying in a hotel.

It may just mean a cable hookup or a wired hookup in a "business center." If they have wi-fi, they'll most likely call it that.

Not always, often the high speed is provided with ethernet connection to restrict access, but you can always use your own router to convert it to wireless.

BiGirl,
No that usually means that they have equipped each apartment with some form of DSL. You will need to purchase your own equipment if you want to convert it into WiFi.
