Israel is the bully. Israel has always been bullying its way in the middle east because no one wants them there. To me it was a response by Hezbollah. A bully is someone that takes something from you. In this case Israel had some of Hezbollah captured. Hezbollah decided to "man up" to the bully and attack back. You cant be mad at that. I think the media itself is trying to find out if Israel is the victim or bully because the US is for Israel.

Both. Victim because their soldiers were captured. Bully because they are trying to force the Lebanese government to go after Hezbollah by blowing up things important to all of Lebanon. Ideally, the government would go after Hezbollah, but practically, no way.

The victim.
Civilian soldiers, doing their thing before returning to normal life, abducted for the purposes of sadistic tortures that accomplish nothing except enraging the sensibilities of a people who simply want to be left alone--this deserves a response. Israel has responded. After much patience, it has responded.
The militant Palestinians have been taking pot shots for years, amassing weapons, training a whole nation on their use--now is time to put up, or return the hostages and shut up. I feel sorry for the Palestinian people who have such angry and narrow-minded leaders.
