I believe there are reasons for everything. When innocent humans suffer, perhaps it's karma. But what's the reason for so many innocent animals suffering. This is not an attempt to turn anyone vegan. I wish animals had no hearts or brains, but as it goes, humans are no better. In fact, we're the only animal who have caused severe devistation. If anyone's seen what they go thru 24/7, and just how animals can love, hate, play, feel jealousy, have egos, etc., how can we not wish for better conditions for them. I can find humor in most anything, but not this.

Forget the God part. . And NO, there's plenty to eat w/out animals. If your life is not good enough w/out it, then u have no life!! God doesnt allow it - we as people allow it. By eating meat almost every meal we insist animals are kept in such conditions.
Eating chicken is the cruelest since 1 dead chicken feeds only a few people for a short time and chickens live short lives in horrible conditions - feeding range fed cattle is less cruel since the cattle have slightly better lives (not to be confused with feed lot cattle) and feeds alot more people so fewer animals suffer - hunted deer are less cruel since they at least have had good lives.
veal calves are obviously cruel as are pigs...
as humans we will be judged on how we treat our food animals - eat less meat is the best option - infact most food guides suggest our average portion should be a lot smaller than it is (palm sized every 2 days is the ideal)
remember this - animals value their lives as much as we do
we need to eat meat to survive but just how much depends on our choice and where we buy from is also our choice (eg free range eggs)

What's He going to do to stop it??? Humans have free will, and we use it to its full extent, for both the best and the worst of reasons. I do agree that it is terrible, and I wish that animals were treated more humanely, but I don't see why you're blaming God. It's not like He's giving them all cancer or something that us humans aren't at fault for. It's all us, unfortunately. And we're the only ones who can stop it. Unless you expect some huge lightning bolts to come zinging out of the sky anytime soon...

Animals, it's what's for dinner. Oh, and have you ever seen how crabs actually live all clumped up. And how fish swim in huge schools with little to no room. And how animals stampede in herds real closely together.....and the cramped conditions of the poor ants.

cause "god" is an imaginary crutch for weak people. this question comes about when the people begin to come back to reality and think about things. if there was a "god", he wouldnt let things like this happen. he would show his "divine Mercy" bs crap. i dont know how christianity has survived.... its time for persectution though, all major religions have gone through a major period of persecution except christianity and catholicism.

God doesn't WANT the animals to suffer, its not like he plays torture w/ them, he is actually torturing the people who do it. B/c obviously, the people who do it aren't at all good, so in the afterlife, they will be punished.
