I have a heart lol sord off but kobe bryant deserved to win...No doubt about it in my mind...This is something legendary that nobody will ever forget. Some say it was better than wilts 100 point performance since when wilt did it he did it on purpose and hes teamates automaticaly gave him the ball. And hes opponents were letting him score at will also. Nobody has even come close to 81 points in the modern NBA. What the autistic kid did was good and heart warming and everthing but cmon you know damn well in another few months or so well totally forget hes name. I bet most of you dont know his name already. What kobe did is gonna be in the hisotry books forever and most probably wont be challenged for a really long time. It was a rare monumental moment. And people need to realize that. And yes the colorado incident did play a factor. Ofcourse no doubt about it. America doesnt reward its enemies. But should not of played a role in this decision. Kobe was robbed. And unfortionately a sweet tear jerker that we will all forget soon stole the espy from him. Love it or hate it is the politicaly incorrect truth.

Kobe is not from Europe. He did live there. Secondly I know he didn't mind the kid getting that award one bit. Kobe is on a national stage and gets the spotlight everynight. I'm sure he didn't mind the kid geting the spotlight. Everyone in the world knows about Kobe's amazing performance and he doesn't need an award to show how great it was. I do agree that he gets unfair treatment do to the Denver skank though. I think it did hurt him in the MVP voting.Regardless of what anyone says Kobe knows he can ball. He knows he has a game like no other and he respects the other great players in the league. I actually heard him give Wade props and vice-versa. I also heard LeBron say he wish he had Kobe's killer instinct.

HOW CAN U SAY THAT do u happen to know who he lost to a high school basketball manager who is autistic. this kid only wanted to do one thing in life and that was to play basketball and his coach granted his wish and he score 20 points in 4 minutes. i even belive that there will be a movie made after this great story.....is anyone making a movie for kobe scoring 81 i dont think so.

The Espys are over rated anyways, I doubt Kobe really cares if he won one, he has bigger things to worry about. Like rehab for his knee and attending the camps for the national team (even though he won't be playing)

Does everything have to be racist now days? Why if a black person does not win something over a white person they always say its racist? Sure there is racism in this world but that goes both ways, the black race is just as much racist as the white race. Can't we all just get along!!!

Even if he was "robbed", he's not about individual awards. He has to score, so he does. He's a great player and a sure Hall of Famer but he shouldn't be worried.

I think committing adultery makes him look like a loser to ALL Americans. White America get off it.

The others deserved it more. However any other year he would have won both of the awards.

he's from europe, but hes black. how strange
if the autistic kid wasn't even on the team's roster then i don't think he deserves it. i heard he was the team manager, and that doesnt sound like a player.
