How do you chat with ppl and how do you get to a chat room?

Download Yahoo! Messenger and run it. When you get it up, click "messenger" at the top left, scroll down and click "Yahoo! chat", then "join a room", then choose a room and you're in business. Be aware that 90% of the chat world consists of deviants and confidence artists. 90% of what remains are folk you might be too quick to dismiss as idiots. Those remaining will be your new friends. Be good to them.
