Yes. They are the only band of their era to still be producing music that is true to the grunge ideal. Their music is fantastic, their politics are unprecedented for any group that has emerged in the last 20 years. They are a band that has gotten past all the crap that destroys bands, any band with the longevity to continue producing quality music like they have over nearly 20 years is legendary. Most bands never make it. Many break up. Pearl Jam will someday retire.

Shouldn`t that be "Are Pearl Jam legendary?" ?
The answer is no - the Beatles are ,The Stones are ,Elvis is ,Jimi is ,even Janis but Pearl Jam? No - not yet.

Gonna hafta give that ? A Yes.......Anyone that grew up listening to there music will tell you that., and lets face it, after all (well....most) of their counterparts are gone, they are still hanging in there and producing some music that is still making people sit up and take notice. They are legends ion their own time.......and they will go down as legendary........

Absolutely. Without a doubt one of the best rock bands in history.

they are considered that by a lot of ppl but i don't think so. I never really like their music. I think its just the guys voice.
I love rock music though
