I just need to know if my ex has any grounds to stand on in court because he is threating to declare me unfit in court and take my son away from me. This man is really good at mindgames and mental abuse, he also has a way with getting people to believe anything he says.. I just need to know what does the courts in texas look at to prove a mother unfit.

I would examine what kind of case he has with an attorney's help.
Sue him in civil course if you have a case against him.

1. I think you can answer if you're an unfit mother in anyway or doing something that could be construed as such. If anything you are doing could be construed as such, don't be doing it and you will have nothing to worry about.
2. Do you think he is trying to get out of paying child support? What is his real motivation here?
3. Try to put your son's feelings first and put aside your own personal vendettas. Encourage your ex through a mediator to do the same. Your son needs to be focused on, first and foremost. Don't use your son as leverage against your ex and don't allow him to do it either. Protect, protect, protect him. Maybe then he will have a chance to live a somewhat non-dysfunctional life.
4. Keep a diary or journal of everything in case you need it. Keep track of all your expenses as they relate to your child. If he is late on child support, you can in most states go through your district attorney's office and they can handle it directly. Shouldn't cost you anything more than a small filing fee.

for one thing it is very hard for a guy to get a mothers kids taken away from her because people tend to favor the mothers.
i would examin his case w/an attorny also

well it all dependends a mother is fit to take care of her child if she feeds him, sends him to school, buys him cloths, and treats him right i guess thats the main thing is that she has a stable job to support both her and the child then you have nothing to worry about.

as long as you have food, clothing and shelter, no abuse, then youre ok. i tryed to get my kid from my exwife and i have pics of her messed up house, no frig, no washer/dryer, no beds, clothes on the floor, straight filth, and i had pics to prove it, plus a paid lawyer, i got doo doo. all they wanted to know was how i got the pics. just dont go to jail, then he has lead way
