god so many great bass gods out there.........stu hamm, jaco pastorious, bootsy collins, billy sheehan, trey gunn, alphonzo johnson. i think flea is overrated, les claypool is ok but sloppy.

let me put this as a list of favs...1 is the best to the worst

1. tony levin ( peter gabriel)
2. Michael Manring
3. stu hamm ( joe satrini, steve vai)
4. john Myung ( dream theater, platypus)
5. trey gunn ( king crimson, gordian knot)
6.Jaco Pastorious ( weather report)
7. billy sheehan ( mr big... talas. and steve vai)
8. Pete Trawass ( marillion)
9.Myself
10. Freakbass ( one hell of a funk bassist...better than flea and les claypool together times 10)
10.

and mark hoppus from blink 182

and a large amount of them act fruity a lot of the time

Mine would have to be Steve Harris of Iron Maiden. I have never seen anyone who can play as quick as him, plus he is an awesome song writer.
