I am having recent problems getting it on with my wife and was considering trying a bit on the side to try and spice up my marriage? Should I?

Some great answers, thanks. I'm not denying I am the problem. In fact I had recent surgical complications that didn't help. I am looking for a solution!

I don't know. What does your wife think of the idea? Run it by her and see how she feels.

How are you going to spice up the marriage if your wife won't be the one with you? Am I the only one that can't understand that? It sounds to me like you are not attracted to her anymore - cuz seriously why would you go somewhere else? Anyways, i think to spice things up - first of all u have to be with her...do something romantic..take her out, have a few drinks, give her a massage, watch some porn and then go down on her.....there are a lot of guys that get turned on by just seeing their women turned on...;)

No. Talk it over with your wife. Find out why you're having problems and whether the problem is YOU (it probably is). You just may have to grow up and not be so g o d d a m n e d self-centered. If you can't get your head out of your a s s, at least liberate your wife so she does not have to put up with your being a cheating scumsucker.

You should be ashamed for even asking. I am not an angel by far but if you want spice it up why don't you involve your wife. If she does not want to do different things then you need to tell her you are at a point in your life that you want to try other things. But for the sake of your marriage don't do it elsewhere with someone else.

Do not cheat. Talk to your wife about it. Tell her you are being tempted and had thought about it, so she knows how serious the problem is. Go get counseling, there are even sex therapists who handle issues like these. Tell your wife what your fantasies are, she may be interested in trying something for you. Maybe not to the point of a threesome, which seems to be every guys fantasy, but I mean a fantasy involving just the 2 of you.

Are you nuts? I mean really nuts? You want to risk your marriage because you can't get it up? Have you ever realized that as we guys get older we all can have a problem like that once in a while? I would NEVER, EVER risk my marriage, my kids, my money, or my reputation for something so dumb as that. YOU WILL GET CAUGHT, GUARANTEED! So unless you want to divorce your wife right now, forget about it. Go to your doctor get some Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra and get it on with your wife. If you still can make it work, consider alternative "games" but keep your equipment at home because you are invested in her and she in you.

Cheating is never the answer how would you feel if you found out your wife was cheating on you. I imagine probably heart broken it's not a good feeling at all.Talk to her about it.Suggest something you guys could do to spice it up a bit(not cheating).Just talk to her that's the best thing to do don't cheat just imagine how you would feel and consider her feelings okay.Just talk.

It doesn't really work for the marriage at all, so you are only trying to spice yourself up. That's fine, but be honest about what you're up do here---selfish gratification. It may or may not be harmful to your marriage---it's a risk you'll have to take. Might blow the whole thing up in your face....are you ready for that?

Maybe you just need a hooker.

Why not try some internet sex first and see how you feel after? Maybe that can be a stop-gap measure. Maybe you're having trouble with her because she's moved on to someone else. I think couples often do that at around the same time.

Hell no!!!!! you have to work out what ever the problem is at home, what kids of problems do you have with your wife? Cheating is not spice, it's cheating. If you truly love your wife, you wouldn't dream of cheating on her.

no bcuz you took vows with her b4 God and it would be the wrong thing to do, plus you don't want her to cheat on you, and if you feel u need spice in ur life, talk to her, maybe she feels the same way about bcuz if u cheat and she finds out she might just never trust you again, and it is not worth, especially if you love her
