How can I lower my Insulin? I am trying to get pregnant but my insulin is to High....I was told that I have PCOS.....My all time dream is to be a Mommy...do you have any tool or advice of what I can do?

You should go see a doctor and tell them your situation. They'll probably prescribe metformin to help your body become more sensitive to insulin, which will lower your insulin and blood sugar levels. This should help you get pregnant. They may also try clomiphene, which will help your body ovulate so that you can become pregnant.

If you get a prescription, be sure to take the medications as directed, and don't miss any doses.

My girlfriend is going thru the same thing. She went to a ob/gyne who put her on high doses of Metformin. She has to be on it for 2 months before she can be seen by a fertility specialist.
