Absolutely not!!

Actually, severe morning sickness is a sign that you may be pregnant with multiples.

I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant with twins, and couldn't hold down a thing. When I went to my doctor appt, and knowing how sick I was...even before turning the ultrasound machine on he was asking me if twins ran in my family. Sure enough - 2 babies. I'm still a little seasick, from what I have found out - "morning sickness" can last throughout the whole thing with pregnancy. Women who have had multiples without any kind of morning sickness is actually a rare thing, from the research that I have found.

Many women do have cravings with garlic. It doesn't mean anything. Just that her sense of smell is increasing, and therefore cravings for different foods are also increasing.

By all means, I'm not saying that she's not pregnant with twins, I'm not an OB/GYN nor did I give her an ultrasound...my only point is that I've heard plenty a wives' tale in my day, that was not one that I've ever heard before, and I can tell you first-handedly that it's not true.

Signs that you may be pregnant with twins: Increased nausea, extra tiredness, uterus is larger - women who have had pregnancies prior will notice that this pregnancy is quite different than the others. I bought some books on twins, they all state this also. If I had picked up one of these books prior to that first ultrasound - I definitely would have demanded an ultrasound!!

I had twins and did not even touch garlic while I was pregnant. I also never had morning sickness. I was just very tired and was always hungry. depending on how the twins are in her family will depend on if she is more likley to have them

Total old wives' tale! Cravings are just a hormonal thing. Some women crave steak, lemonade, oranges, certain types of candy.... none of them influence the number of babies!

Hormones, i think. My mom reported she enjoyed beer while she became into nursing--it facilitates make greater milk, or some thing. it is not basically the alcohol, it is the flavor, the herbs, the result on your milk and sweat and all. you ought to attempt some barley water--it is meant to be very fresh. Boil barley in water, stress and kick back the liquid, put in some lemon juice--it is an previous-college summertime drink from, like, England or some thing. I propose, it is not precisely beer, yet possibly it's going to help.
