Breasts are not inherently sexual, that's a meaning that has developed. Breasts are mammary glands, meant to feed a baby and help offspring survive. Large breasts meant good health and fertility, that women were well able to produce and care for potential offspring. Like many things, the sexuality of breasts is a constructed thing. Women's bodies have often beared the brunt of society's critical eye, be it weight, sexuality, shape, and much more.
I fail to see why not wearing a top is about men, however. Yes, some of the time people do dress to impress, that's an inherent instinct to find and impress a mate, but just because they choose to wear something or nothing at all doesn't mean it's about a guy. Believe it or not, women dress or don't dress because it makes them feel good. If a woman is comfortable not wearing a top, more power to her. Just because a woman dresses how she wants, however it may be, doesn't mean she's out to ensnare men's attention. It is not about you.

i believe you are correct. Men bearing chest is for the same reason unless it's at the beach or at the pool. *points fingers on the people who run on the street shirtless and those at the gym shirtless*
For people who don't know, it is legal for women to be topless in Toronto, Canada. They even have a news channel where the anchors are topless. I don't know of any other place, and I think it's sickening, especially if the person doesn't have a very nice body.

When women go topless in the US, I do agree that they are doing it for male attention (sorry ladies).
However, I think that once you get out of the US it's an entirely different situation. Not to say that it doesn't happen because of that too, but not always for attention.

Definitely for attention.
And for the coment about breasts not being sexual, they are part of the reproductive system. Same as some parts more commonly viewed as "sexual". So if my breasts aren't sexual, neither is a man's penis. (Both of which should be covered)

The world has gone one full circle. In early civilisaton (centuries BC eons ago) on earth, the womenfolk did not cover their breasts in public. The womenfolk at that time just accepted it as daily living. Today, well educated women is doing the same thing but with an agenda: they know that it is an instrument to make or break a man's will. To all such women today who go topless, please have your head examined.

It is only Western society that dictates that breasts are sexual.
I go topless, but it has nothing to do with attention. I luv having no tan lines and I luv the feeling of the sun on my chest. Thats it

Going topless isn`t an attempt at attention-grabbing it`s just a way of getting an even tan - I hate brown bodies with white **** LOL

actually breasts are not sexual, they are just for feeding the baby. but anyway,... who cares why they do, lets just be glad they do.. and where is this place at anyway?, and some women's toes can be affected during sexual arousel, that doesn't mean toes were made for sexual purposes..its clear that some people on here were government school educated.
