An iPod IS AN MP3 player.

There are MANY types of MP3 players. Hundreds, thousands of models.

The best deal would be the Creative Zen Nano Plus. It's $55/$65 for one that holds 125/250 songs. It comes packaged with an armband accessory, too.

If you needs a color screen, get the iRiver Clix [$200] (2GB, 500 songs).

They are both mp3 players

Mp3:
It's cheaper. I guess u can get a 4 to 5 gb at $300 plus.

Ipod:
There is no difference. Only that u can put in the pics of the singer singing that song or somthing. Thats what I heard from my friend. Ipod is more expensive because it works on a touch pad. I think u can get 2gb at about $200 plus

What I think is that a Mp3 player is cheaper and nicer.

MP3 usually don't hold as much songs as MP3's do but if you want to run with one then get an MP3 cause it has memory but I-Pods have discs and when you run it won't work unless you get a nano or shuffle. My MP3 (1 giga byte) holds about 240 songs and was only $75 at circuit city and bestbuy but most of them are under $149 while I-Pods are at least $200-$300
