Maybe on the sub-atomic level. I mean seriously, I have actually seen individuals who could start an argument with a lamp-pole, people who act intelligent enough to show and prove they've got just two brain cells, one is missing and the other one is looking for it, and ofcourse a big group having to believe that 1 + 1 equals to 2, it may be 9 or an apple. When you see people like this there is no doubt, that definitely everyone has a different understanding level and competetiveness.

There are different types of intelligence so it is hard to be specific, but some people (not groups) do have difficulties and other seem to have greater prowess with certain types of intelligence. Watching Jerry Rice play football or seeing the work of Salvidor Dali, in my opinion are equally impressive from a standpoint of witnessing intelligence. Some people have a knack for physics and some others it's prose, like Kerouac and Einstein, equally elegant and intelligent, just different types of intelligence. I.Q. does not measure all intelligence, you can have an I.Q. of 110 and be a genius.

No, and the awkward structure of your sentences shows it. "Intelligence", like other traits or qualities (strength, general health, etc.) varies within any group. If you are familiar with the field of Statistics you might be aware of the Bell Curve, which is a statistical model that applies here. Generally, in this case it means that most people in a group (like the entire human race) will share a common level of intelligence, but some with have increasingly less or more intelligence that the rest. Most people can manage to live their lives with the intelligence they have, others are too stupid, and yet others can alter the course of history.

IQ or intelligence quotient is a measure of how much capability a person has to learn and reason. A classic case of a person being born with a lessened ability to learn is a person with down syndrome. This is a genetic disorder. People who have it can not reason as well as those who don't. We are not all born the same. We are all born with different strengths and weaknesses. So no I don't believe we are born with the same ammount of intelligence but we can expand our minds and our ability to think by learning. reading, doing puzzles and putting your mind to use. Interestingly most people who are in school's IQ's go up over time. I don't know what to make of this. But I do believe we can encourage a person to use their abilities. And a person with less intelligence can still reason even if they take more time to do it. Their decisions are not wrong because they are slower.

You are mostly right, i only say mostly because there are a few cases were you might have a mentally challenged person but that is truly the only exception. The social upbringing and the positive motivation that a child receives when growing up dictates a lot on how they will continue in life. A person in Inglewood is probably less likely to succeed in life because they are now focused on surviving than say a person in pleasantville.

No .. its like asking does nation have the same economic status ?
for a complete understanding of what you are asking for here is a blog of mine .. http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-Rw6gnE8rfqt_JA7jMs3hWZ0-?cq=1
it deals about intelligence , Sun effect on intelligence , education , poverty , international economic status .. you will understand how and why there are poor countries and why black and brown people could never catch-up with white people's technological advances ..
and for your question , this is my answer ..lets take it from your question ..
Does every human being on this earth have the same amount of intelligence, <---- the same amount ? maybe but same LEVEL NO ..
but because of life's various backgrounds and social upbringings, intelligence has been altered. ... NO ....
when naked people , white race and black/brown race started out living on earth .. there was a low social upbringings .. so it never and cannot alter intelligence .... we start our answer at the beginning of Life itself .. .. ok ??
Life .. life's various backgrounds ... yes it has many ... but lets start from the beginning ... at the start they were naked people , group of people .. black/brown race and white race ... what's in their background and surroundings were trees , animals , sea and land , sky ... no social upbringings yet ... tress cannot affect intelligence of any race , animals of course cannot alter human intelligence , sea .. what can sea do ? again it cannot ... land .. land is just a land .. sky ... what can sky do ? Nothing .. but there is something in the SKY .. that exist during that time and still exists today .. do you know what it is ? to those naked races .. they are all under the same SUN .. yes the SUN was there and is still there today ..
that time when a race/group of humans lives in a place near equator .. their skin will turn brown or black ..because there is abundant heat of the SUN everyday ... social upbringing cannot and could never make your skin black and brown ..
when race / group of people will live in a place that is far from the SUN .. their skin will stay white ,,
most black and brown races are poor and they live mostly on hot places ... most white races are rich and they live mostly on fair climate places ..
and so intelligence is affected by the SUN .. nothing else can .. but the SUN .. it had affected before and it will still affect intelligence today ..
Do humans have equal intelligence? < -- since one man is asking ,, like you ... it means NO .. and every man who answers has different ideas and level of ideas , so NO again ..
reply the the answerer .. someone answer that she is good in math while the other is good in history .... its not level of intelligence rather it is called level of INTEREST .. she is more interested in MATH thats why she is good there while the other on is more interested in HISTORY ...
reply the the answerer .... someone answer that there are LEVELs of inteligence that can alter the course of HISTORY .. thats very true ... lets say .. 1-10 level of intelligence ...
level 5 is an average level for all human race ... it is an intelligence that is above the intelligence of animals ..
level 5 intelligence has the ability of self-correcting , progress , observation , proper implementation , an soon that is better than animals ...
level 3 intelligence has the level of stupid human's brain ... while level 1 intelligence has the level of kid's with mother on drugs .. they are called special kids ..
while level 7 intelligence are for lawyers , doctors , business man .. level 8 intelligence are for succesful lawyers , great doctors , sucessful buinessman
level 9 .. as scientists ... and level 10 are like BILL gates ... ienstein ... thomas edison ... people that change the world's HISTORY ...
so i hope you really understand ...
black and brown race has level 5 to 8 intelligence ,, while white races .. like japanese , USA , Europeans , AUstralian , RUssians .. has level of intelligence of 5 to 10 .....
so INDIVIDUAL human intelligence really not same level .. while human RACES intelligence is not same level ...
what ever intelligence level we have , we have different INTEREST and diffirent LEVEL of interest ....

To tell you the truth, I don't know. It's funny because so many people stereotype "intelligence" in one specific way. When in reality we are all intelligent on different levels and in different subjects. I may be more intelligent in math than you are but you may be more intelligent in History than me. I also believe people can be very intelligent in everyday life situations where as they aren't so "book smart". Does that make them less intelligent than others? I really don't think so. It's a very complicated question. But I will be interested to see what people have to say.

No, look at the developmentally disabled people. You have more of a chance with what you are born with if your mother didn't do illegal drugs and there are some prescription drugs that damage a developing fetus's brain. If the mother drinks during her pregnancy the baby will be subject to fetal alcoholism. No, we all have different levels of intelligence.

Equal to what? I have always believed that humans are a rather primative life form, thus, of lesser intelligence than other forms of life in the universe.

In my 4+ decades, I have ascertained that about 15% of humanity has a clue, the other 85% are living in various states of stupidity. That is regardless of race, creed, background, nationality, etc.
