first of all, you need to be friends with them, make them your best friend, email me so i can know what school your going to, im in the 6th grade too!then, get there phone number, and call them. ask him out. if it worked for my boyfriend and me, it might just work for you.

Well if the guy likes you he would most likely ask you but if he is shy or nervous around you then you say "want to go to the dance with me?" or if you want to go out with him then just say "Will you go out with me?"

if you dont wanna be the one to ask him and you want him to ask you give hints out to him. go up to him and say "so, you goin to the dance?" or :so have you asked anyone to the dance" or " you thinking about asking anyone to the dance?" just little questions like that that can kind of hint to him that you want to go with him.
