I have a dwarf rabbit and I wanna train him to pee in the litter box in his cage. How do I do that so that later I can let him out and expect him to use the restroom back in his cage in the litter box

Rabbits can indeed be toilet trained. I've written an article on this here -
http://au.geocities.com/leaswebsite/bunnyhouserabbits.html#toilet
As I said on my site, rabbits naturally pee in the one place - so you simply take advantage of this, and place your litter tray in the corner that your bunny has chosen. He will then begin to associate the tray with his toilet. Have a read of my article - bunns can indeed be toilet trained!

How long have you had them? How large is the cage? How enormous are the rabbits? If the cage is just too small and too dirty the rabbits quit rest room training. They study that there is not any option to be as clean as they need (and rabbits are very clean, like cats, they do not tollerate being dirty) so stop trying. If the cage is colossal (dwarf rabbits need three square feet all to themselves, better rabbits want more room), then, are trying getting a few more litter bins. Some rabbits will not share, is not going to use it if it's soiled, or will not stroll their lazy butts into a further room to use it. Put poop from each rabbit within the bins and show the rabbits where they are. Smooth the cage and litterboxes more, however leave some poop in it. Praise and treat for utilizing the containers. Young rabbits want time to mature and for field training to "kick in" so if yours are younger than 2 months, supply them some time. Maintain showing them the boxes and praising them. Unfortuately, some don't educate. However each individual is specific, so, preserve trying, they may come around. Good good fortune.

A rabbit cannot be trained to go in a litter box perse, BUT there is a way for your rabbit to use alitter box.

Learn when she goes to the bathroom a lot and put the litter box in the spot, and when she is out of the cage, and running around your house observe where she goes to the bathroom frequently and place the litter box there.

Good Luck!!!!!

if he is in a cage then it will be easy. Find what corner of the cage he goes in, and put the box there. You might want to start out by putting some of his droppings in there so that he will know what it is for. I have my dwarf running in my house and she will use the box everytime. I use pine shavigns in her box and it works great.

Sorry, mine always ate the litter, but she would always go back to her cage to go. She had maybe only 5 accidents in the 12 years we had her.

They train slow, but well. Whenever he makes a mistake, put the droppings where you want him to poop and pee. If he pees in the wrong place. blot it up with a paper towel and put that where you want them to go. Let their world get larger slowly. They get it after a while.
