That's no good. You can always talk to people on line - as long as you are careful. It is important however that you learn to appreciate your own company. You have to be alone at times and only you can make that a pleasant time without feeling like there is something missing. Loneliness is something that begins with you and we can feel that way even in a crowded room sometimes. Keeping busy is always good and remember that you can make friends if only you try. It is up to you to be a little more outgoing and put yourself in a position to meet others. You can join a group or club, do a course mainly for the social side o things. Think of things to do where you will be forced to interact with others. You asked about it here so that is a good start.

Go to a good local Bible teaching Christian church, listen to the gospel message, turn your life over to Christ and join God's family. Then you can start to have new friends who won't be like the previous poster that suggested that you stop being such a good person. They will come alongside you and grow to love you like a sister and be there to help you out. Plus you will have God in your life and the Holy Spirit whom Jesus said would act as our comforter and counselor. You need never feel lonely again!

Go out and have some fun. You don't have to have friends to go make friends...Getting out is good for you. Try different types of clubs, and if your not into the whole night club scene try events, like fairs revolving around things you like...As in if you like cars hit car shows, if your into gaming try the local gaming spots (you can gets lists of tournaments from places like Home Vision Video) If your into exotic pets look up the local shows...The point is to start net working in events you like to rub elbows with people who share your interests, and there fore find friends and/or a mate who shares your interest...Oh by the way this is a good way to rub elbows for career advancements in fields you like.

Call up your local hummane society or meals on wheels (or whatever orginization deals with things that make you happy), and ask them about volenteering. Animals/elderly people/kid/whoever are great company, and you won't feel as lonely if you're busy. Plus, you'll make a diffrence in your community, and I promise you'll have fun.
