If any one told you that it is bad then they are crazy. Your baby is getting all the things it needs from the umbilical cord and I'm pretty sure there is no hot or cold tap for the child to use. You can drink all the cold drinks you want without it doing anything to the child.

As far as I know you can drink cold drinks....and water is the best thing for you to drink. I personally crave things like slushes and very cold drinks and so far Ive been fine. I would ask your doctor but Im sure that you and the baby would be fine

the coldness of the drink does not affect the baby. Water is the best thing for the baby, milk being the second best.

Cold drinks are fine while you are pregnant. The best thing for you to be drinking during pregnancy is water. Make sure you are staying hydrated.

I don't know who told you that, but you heard wrong. Water is the best thing to drink for the baby. It keeps you hydrated, which can help prevent dehydration. Dehydration causes nausea, headaches, cramping, dizziness, constipation - not to mention that your baby's missing out on the hyrdation that he/she needs too. Keeping hydrated keeps your body's functions flowing, and helps allow neede nutrients to flow to your baby's system.

And as hot as it is...cold water is ALL that I"m drinking! Soda is no good for your baby. I don't even let my kids drink it. It does rot out your teeth, the caffeine in it actually does not hydrate you, there is no benefit for your baby from it.

Drink all the water you want, it is really important that you stay hydrated. Just stay away from caffinated drinks and those with all the strange additives like energy drinks. Ginger Ale and the sort is ok, just not as a steady diet.
