I am married to a woman I love very much but I can't get my ex-best friend out of my mind. My ex best-friend and I have known each other for some time and she lives abroad, so we started our virtual romance, over the Internet (we never consummated it), I fell heavily in love (I love her) and old me it was mutual. She asked me to make a choice between my wife and her (she is also married) but I didn't have the guts to go one way or the other, so she said she'd make the choice for me and cut contact with me completely. It's been one year and I've not heard one word from her. I've sent her several emails but she refuses to respond. My wife (who has cheated on me before but says she still loves me and wants us to be together) knows about us as I told my wife hoping my friend would be happy with that and let me back into her life but my ex-best friend said too little too late and she's making it work with her husband. I'm desperate to get her back in my life even as a friend, what can I do

Don't be a pig for one thing, respect the fact that she is trying to make things work with her marriage and leave her alone. I cant even believe you would ask something like that!!!

be respectful of her let her get on good terms with her husband if you love her so much let her go as the old saying goes and you cannot get ahead in your marriage if you do not let your past be your past even though your wife has cheated it does not mean you have to also two wrongs don't make a right

Work on your own marriage or get out. If you truly love this other woman, you shouldn't be with your wife. Also, if you really love this other woman you would respect her wishes and stop trying to contact her!!

I guess it was too little too late then and you should move on. You had your chance and you blew it and thats the way it goes, sometimes you aren't given more than one. Looks like you probably blew both of your relationships, karma is a b*tch isn't it?

Let her work on her marriage. And you work on yours. That's the right thing to do.

Leave her alone.. She won't know what she's got until it's gone or maybe she realized that she really didn't want to be with you afterall!
