Most of my friends are either married or coupled. I need a holiday and fancy going to either Prague or Ibiza.
Would I be considered weird if I head out on my hols to either place alone?

NO my dad went to Ibiza on his own and he's nearly 60... just hang out places like Bora Bora and u get 2 know loadsa ppl- every1 is sooo nice. The clubs r the best esp. Manumission !!! It's like a concert, stage show, carnival, circus and nightclub all rolled into one. Restaurants are gr8, I recommend Banyan Palace Thai Restaurant, Can Bernat, El Ayoun in Santa Eulalia and Sol y Sombra in San Antonio.
If you really don't want to go alone get in touch with a group through dontstayathome they have a website where u get in tough with people who want to go the places you want to visit and you go as a group- qite a few go to ibiza and they are so nice, you make friends for life.

Going To Ibiza Alone

I went to Ibiza alone and it was so much fun. I stayed at Club Paradiso Medatereanea (I think). Lots of young fun people. I would just go to the hotel bar every evening and people would come up to me and ask me to join there group. There were also other single girls there so I made friends with them. Everyone in Ibiza is so fun and friendly. It is like living in a small town and you feel like you know everyone after a week. Whether you are a guy or girl though you need to avoid walking alone after dark. Lots of people get mugged or raped.

I have also been to Prague but with a friend. If you stayed at a place with lots of young people you might be fine but I can guarantee you would have fun in Ibiza.

When I was in my early 20's I decided to travel to Europe on my own for basically the same reasons al you. i went for a month. I backpacked and rode the trains and stayed in hostels. When I arrived i did not speak the language, couldn't change the money etc. The first night was hard but, I met so many people from all over the world who were traveling alone. Best time of my life. I am not to familiar with your chosen destinations but, it is always good to check with the government about areas that one should not be traveling to. Also do your research. Read travel books. look up places on the net. Traveling is the most enjoyable thing I do. If all looks good, go! take a chance! You will most likely have the time of your life.

For a 17 year previous lady i'd say no; exceedingly to a social gathering scene like Ibiza. who's going to look out for you in case you get your drink spiked? Or at the same time as a rowdy bunch of lads initiate coming onto you? there are distinct hazards for a lady, exceedingly in an element of such partying and binge ingesting - at the same time as in a set it is nice because you're being regarded after and searching after human beings yet on my own which will develop into very puzzling. i'd not propose it.

Prague is one of the towns worth-visit and to achieve that you can start preparing your vacation with hotelbye . Beginning with the wonderful place around the Prague Castle or the Strahov monastery with its remarkable library and finish with …the whole great town, Prague is simply incredible. In Prague you can even visit the small house wherever Franz Kafka labored or the charming Prague Castle gardens from where you are able to like a special view of the city with its picturesque red roofs. In that town you will never get bored. In the event that you should go through the spring you will see the spring trees in bloom; in summer time you might find extended dusks; fall will provide you with colorful leaves and special light and in the winter you will enjoy the entire city covered with innocent white snow.

No not at all. It is YOUR vacation. Go out and have fun. Ibiza isn't exactly a dangerous neighborhood. You'll be fine by yourself. Go out, have fun, make new friends and enjoy your vacation!
