Nascar.

Formula 1 is by FAR the more difficult sport. No one in NASCAR could actually compete in Formula 1. I am by no means an expert, but I read an article in the New Yorker about how some Formula 1 racers are paid more than any other sport. For some reason the sport just didn't catch on in the US. But if you or I went to Europe and bragged about NASCAR, we would be seriously laughed at.

NASCAR sucks, all they do is go around in circles for 3 hours. In formula 1 they at least turn right. Formula 1 is about precision and skill. All NASCAR drivers have to do is floor it and turn left. Formula 1 drivers are the best in the world, their skill and finesse is something to be admired. Why does America like NASCAR so much? Is it because of its simplicity (a 30 year old eighth grade drop out burger flipper could figure out NASCAR) or because of merchandise loyalty (Bud,Miller Lite,De Walt,Lowes,Home Depot, M&Ms,UPS,Fedex,Cingular Wireless, Subway, Nextel,GM Goodwrench,Office Depot,DuPont,Alltel,Target,Coors,Napa,GMAC, and any other company thats jumped on the NASCAR band wagon) Formula 1 is by far much better.

NASCAR has by far the more exciting racing and talented drivers. F1 cars are million dollar electronic marvels that basically drive themselves. you could put a trained monkey behind the wheel and no one would notice. NASCAR drivers have to struggle with ill handleing, low tech cars that put the race in the hands of the driver, the way racing is supposed to be. that is why F1 driver juan pablo mantoya is defecting to NASCAR, and another F1 driver is talking openly of doing the same. most of the overrated drivers in F1 would not be able to handle the beating, banging, more physical style racing of NASCAR

Both are good for their own reason. I like the tech of F1, but I like sport of NASCAR.
F1 has Bernie and NASCAR has the France family. Both are as crazy as a ***rat. I wish the NASCAR drivers could actually complain about the silly, arbitrary rules and fines.

I think the only person who could answer this question would be Juan Pablo after he competes next year.

Go JPM!

I guess, and of course this is just my point of view. Nascar must be better live, and formula 1 kicks as on tv.

Nascar. I have been to races at lowes and let me tell you if you haven't been to a race....it is a whole different experience then watching it on TV....you get thousands of screaming fans in your ear, well almost lol, roaring of the cars as they go by...it's just not the same on TV....

Nascar because they wreck more and it's more interesting. The guys doing the commentary are funny too. The drivers are hot and it's been around longer.
