My friend is remodeling his store by replacing the floor and opening a half wall. The garbage has been placed in heavy garbage bags and weight about 30-40lbs each. His friend said he would use them in his the back of his open pickup truck, and charge him $400.00. I said he is crazy and it should be no more than $100.00. What would be a good price to charge? I said I would use yahoo answers and see what they think! thanks

a whole truck heaped taken to the dump cost me 80 bucks
a flat rate for a ton drop off...and if you tell them it's from a home remodel job you might get reduced rates. i did but each town and dump are different
i'd say 100 is a good price to charge

I would say About 250-300 would be reasonable.. Comparatively to a large 30yard construction dumpster which would cost about 400dollars full. A 15yard is a couple to few hundred and they drop it off and pick it up and dispose of the material....
This guy is hauling A lot of Garbage there is the cost of disposal at the dump and the cost of Gas and also the guys time is worth something too!
If you were to do this with wearing and tearing on your own vehicle , paying for fuel, and the dumps expenses, and spending your time doing it do you think it would be 100% fair to do all that for only 100 dollars? We are talking 60 40pound bags of demolition material...

I hope this helps ya out..

you should check with the landfield and see how much they charge to dispose of the floor tiles, drywall and etc. --- you may have to up the price for the garbage... jif you are going to charge a $100.00 dollars for hauling it away --- make sure you tell your friend the landfield may charge extra for disposing of the construction material and you'll collect that amount after the folks at the landfield have had a look at the construction materials. (Get a receipt from the landfield if they add a surcharge)... The landfield in your area may not charge like the one where I live....
