If it is a new computer then you should still have some kind of customer support available from the vendor. So I would first phone them for help. If you have an unsupported computer then my first question would be: 'what has changed in the last 2 days?' Was new software installed or a new web site visited or did someone else use the computer? If you cannot establish what may have caused the problem then the easiest solution might be to use the XP Restore option to restore your computer back to 3 or more days ago. (Restore does not affect any documents you have created.) Finally, make sure that your computer is adequately protected from viruses, Internet attacks, spyware and the like. In my opinion, up to date software to protect a computer from the myriad of threats out there is is not an optional extra. Good Luck.

Yeah do the previous people said - but when this usually happens a application usually gets stuck in a infinate loop

The way to check

click start > control panel > if you have got a coloured back ground > click on the left for classic view > then adminstrative tools > then event viewer > click on the left APPLICATION > look down the list for errors > double click on the errors and this will give you a description of the problem > click on the link that say visit mocrosoft help and support - this can give you vital clues

Also do the same with the system

You may have programs running in the background that you do not need -

Click run then type MSCONFIG - click on the right hand tab that say startup

should have list with ticks in it - these are the programs that are loading when windows loads and also the programs that are trying to shut down when windows shuts down - click on the button disable all and then restart

You can also try it in safemode - when you first start you pc keep on tapping f5 or f8 - select safemode and now try closing down - do you have the same problem - if not it is definately one of you startup programs

hope that helps

Scan for spware.. if the OS has been running for more than a year, its time to format and install fresh again. Youll be amazed when it starts running like a new computer again. Wish i could slap a new engine in my car every year so easily! :^)

"once you're somewhat kept" is a misnomer. OSAS has to do with the eternal protection of the believer, not a own decision it really is "set and overlook." This makes for a pretend dichotomy that you look to have provided. there isn't any distinction between kept and somewhat kept. there is guy's perspective of falling away and coming lower back, yet our perspective isn't God's, who has foreknown, predestined, and effectively calls His own. CJ is Calvinism-illiterate. i have considered his arguments. He throws Calvinism and Arminianism in a blender, denies both, hits the Frappe button, and is derived up with Arminianism, albeit with some sprinkles to make it look more suitable useful. It tastes in basic terms as undesirable. Perseverance of the Saints is in basic terms that, God's those with stony hearts taken out and new hearts given to them. New hearts sin, yet they try antagonistic to it. They repent. They seek for a courting with God. And the God who observed as them, received't fail them. His own received't thoroughly fall away, they received't lose or "forfeit" salvation. they could backslide. that would not advise God received't carry His sheep lower back to the fold even as they stumble. The Shepherd is conscious his sheep, and the sheep recognize His call.
