Not fair because you left out suburbia. I live in the suburbs and it's the best of both worlds.... it's very quiet, shady, big backyard like the country but everything I need is within a 10 minute drive. Couldn't ask for more than that.

Country near city. I like open spaces and uncrowdedness of the country life, but I like to visit the city.

i love the country cause of the peace and quiet you can have there....and go out at night without being scared and look at the sky and the stars....but i did not like going so far just to go to the store.. and it wore you out just going to town.. i now live in the city but i do not trust people up here but i can go to the store, doctor, and shopping....and be with people i know i can trust...you can do a lot more in a day in the city than you would if you had to drive hours to get here....so i am country girl at heart and now live in the city....in the country everybody knew who i was and you knew about everybody....usually...but in the city there is so many crimes and terrible crimes that go on...where i lived you never saw mixed race families and now they are every where.. but there is good and bad in all races so i do not want you to think i am racist....

I choose country. Because on a regular you'll have peace of mind, and a slow, quiet life. But when you feel the urge to let loose. You simply drive to the city and hit the hot spots! You can return to your country life in a couple of days feeling fulfilled!
