Much too general of a question for a very specific answer. Electricity has to go thru something with resistance in order to be a complete circuit, (i.e., a lite bulb, a small motor, etc.). If there's no resistance, then no work is performed and it's a short circuit and blows a fuse, trips a breaker. We'd need more information before being able to help much more.

Don't know what kind of 120 volt circuit you are looking for.

If You have A gas furnace (Heater) in your house you can take the blower door off and you will find a diagram on the back side or you can buy A light switch at hardware store for less than 50 cents and switch diagram will be on the side.
