apology to the people that took it to seriously. I thought it was funny and I knew my wife was online. And would see the question. I got even with her when I dropped her at her freinds house I stopped a half a block away and told her to get out. You should have seen her face. Priceless.

I'm at first inclined to just laugh it off, like everyone else who answered did. But then, I think the fact that you even posed the question on here means it wasn't a joking matter to you. If it was just a prank in good fun, then it was funny and it's your turn to play a fun (not mean) trick on your daughter. But, if there's something deeper going on and you were really hurt or mad, it seems like maybe your wife doesn't require that your child shows respect to you. Maybe this is a "sign" of that. If so, it's worth a family pow-wow. Everyone in a family should show respect to the other members.

nah mean is letting your wife walk around canada at the falls all day with a piece of cheese omelette on her face my dad did that to my mom she was everywhere thet day and wore her egg on her face all around even on the maid of the mists boat ride

I would also take into acount how old your daughter is... if she's maybe... 10-13 then she probably was playing around. If she is 14+... there might be more underlying problems there... Especially if you aren't around her as much as she would like.

Kinda of it, but sometimes, you just have to treat it as a joke or the other way to say, "We care about you". Think about, if they don't care about you, they won't do anything with you...the other way, it was the cheapest entertaining...hahaha

Don't be so sensitive, I'm sure they were not doing it to be malicious, and if they were, tell that you don't appreciate it and not to do it to you again. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it however, as it may be incentive to do it again.
