at first , it somewhat is a Kenmore. That stated, you in all probability have a swap that has long gone out. it somewhat is uncommon that the two lines that administration warmth extraction from the two instruments could bypass out on a similar time. the indisputable fact that the freezer is getting chillier than you like on a similar time as something of the compartment is slightly chilly skill which you're certainly getting coolant circulation, yet substitute isn't happening the way it may. in the previous calling a repairman, i could first unplug the finished unit for a jiffy and replug it. which will launch all switches in pumping mechanisms. If that would not restore the concern, then you definately in all probability could desire to have somebody come and connect a defective swap or valve, some thing maximum human beings laymen can't do rather. besides the undeniable fact that, i does no longer advise any style of ability undertaking to the repairman. enable him choose what's incorrect and do the restore. I talk from recent adventure. concept a timing belt had long gone out and made that assertion to the restore shop, who stupidly took me at my observe. They ended up appearing some considerable circulation of things which comprise water pump in basic terms to determine what I had stated replaced into no longer precise, and it replaced into some thing as trouble-free as a results of fact the distributor cap. distinction replaced into approximately $350 as a results of fact I had to pay for their hours engaged on what I had concept replaced into incorrect.

The Kenmores available through Sears are generally very reliable, and you can always get them serviced.

If you want a very energy-efficient one and don't mind spending extra, SunFrost makes some good ones. However, I have a Kenmore that is almost as energy-efficient as a SunFrost and cost about $1500.00 less.

If you stick with the major brand names you should not have any problems. No manufacturer has anything spectacular at this time and whichever one you chose (including Sears) will give you satisfaction.

I have an Amana and it is great . A little advice -- stay away from Sears products -- I made a mistake years ago but now I am Sears free.

~Bridgette Bardot used an Amana and Roger Vadim used to freeze her bottom in it all the time.
