i would like to know why snakes have the energy to still bite even though there dead thats a mystery i would like to find out

snakes can bite for many hours after thier death especialy poisonous ones it is a special reflex thay have

Snakes do not bite if they are dead, however, if the snake is poisonous, it's venom stays for sometime along with teeth and accidental scratch may lead to problems.

You mean snakes still can lunge and bite something even though they are dead? News to me...

Well, in any case, it could be because of a post-death reaction. It could also just be dumb luck, as even in death, a snake should still have its venom and fangs.

Post-mortem reflex. Some animals and creatures have it for days after they die. Cockroaches can survive for weeks without their heads.

chickens are similar in so far as they will still walk after being decapitated .
