It is a place of such abundance and opportunity that many of us become fat and lazy, but if you will work hard, you can have anything you want.

I know there are truly lovely places in other parts of the world, and I'd love to visit them, but I'll always call America home.

Unparalleled freedom. How many country's governments would allow constant vitriole against its president?

America is a great country. The people are allowed many freedoms, such as freedom of speech & freedom of press. We can choose what religion we want to follow, if any at all.

There are also a lot of problems in America. Many big companies are moving the jobs to other countries for the cheaper labor. But there are many opportunities if you want an education. There are jobs, but many are low paying.

There are a lot of drugs. (believe me, EVERY community has some drugs) Some communities it is a big problem.

There are laws here, too. If you are caught breaking the law, you would get arrested. However, there are trials and you wouldn't be thrown in jail without evidence to prove you are guilty.

We can gather in protest or celebration. My niece was just in China, and when a group had gathered at Tianemen Square (sorry for the spelling), the police came to "break it up". My niece & her boyfriend had bought a kite, and were trying to assemble it.

Overall, though, America is a great place. There is everything here. Big cities, small towns, deserts, mountains, oceans, lakes & more. Many beautiful places, too.

I have had the pleasure of living in many places, it is great! We are the land of the free, but at what price? Many citizens are taking our constitution and twisting things around to create "new" laws that are unthinkable. It is a shame that WE allow mothers to kill their unborn children, trying to legalize gay marrages, and the list goes on. I love America, and I am proud to be an American, but if this country does not find Christ, we are DOOMED!

America has been going downhill as the land of the free. People have become complacent and it shows. President Bush is an narcissistic crook and has done nothing good for our country. Maybe when he is gone and we get our balls back we will be the great nation people died for.

The other two countries on our continent want us refered to as United Statesers as they feel they live in America too! The South Americans might feel left out if I don't mention them.

Living in America is great! Our only downfall is the prick living in the White House. To all the Non-Americans out there, please do not think that GWB is the epitome of America. He absolutely is NOT what the majority of Americans stand for.

Well it used to be sooooo GREAT. But now a days we are losing so many freedoms that we used to have. And this is bringing our country down to dictatorship, communism ways. It isn't the country it used to be for sure.
