This medication can cause drowsiness and sleep at low doses. Make sure you take this a half hour before sleeping to prevent feeling tired in the morning. This medicine can make you feel like hitting the snooze button and staying asleep. Tell your doctor if this happens.

Seroquel is a powerful anti-psychotic medication with potentially severe side effects, not all of which get better with time (some, like tardive dyskinesia, actually become worse). Insomnia is an off-label use, and could be very risky. If your doctor doesn't listen to you about your side effects, you need to find a new doctor.
