I am pi***ed paying extra for so called "special edition films" that include theatrical trailers as a special feature the making of the film can be quite interesting sometimes but if you have purchased the film you may have actually allready seen the trailers in the cinema that may be the reason you have purchased the film do the makers think by showing you the trailor of the film youhave got that you will rush out out and buy it again cos you have seen the advert for the film you have seen it on? its bad enough that you have 2 pay for something you dont really own anyway !

my favorite is the useless commentary that no one EVER watches except the hardcore dorks. I guess it's just something THEY feel you''d enjoy and something to make that $20 hole in your wallet seem a little easier to swallow

Well my good friend a simple answer could be that the studios could not call the dvd "special edition" without putting something on the disc besides the film, and the simplest thing to put on the disc is the trailer because they already have it and the cost of the dvd transfer would be minimal.
However i know where you are coming from and you are right,a dvd is just as important as the cinema release and some directors do deleted scenes exclusivly for the dvd George Lucas on the Star Wars movies,Peter Jackson on LOTR so it does happen occasionaly.

u r so right, i'm sick of it also. who would really wanna watch the theatrical trailers of the film that u just paid good money to see the full film? i think it's might be just there for dumb people who thinks, that was a good film, i wonder what the theatrical trailers are like.

p.s thanks for the 2 points.
