I Wasn't nessicarily asking which one is the best, I mean which road should one take, that of brute power, or the other. What is the Ideal, what do you want, The biggest army in the world to protect you, or do you want to go on as a race and continue to grow? or fight all the time? I know at this moment we need an army to protect us or whatever, but what about the future?

i just moved to Boston from Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and society here seems to be making progressive decisions; in Ethiopia however i believe that people should strive to narrow the gap between the rich and poor cause it is getting ridiculously wide - then we can start to think about spending money on luxuries like the army.

The army. The end result of communism is always the same....genocide.

But you know that already. The sole reason for making a post like this is to trick people into giving up the army....so you can move in and take over....then the killing starts.

Put the money where the talk is. Conservatives love to talk about family values- meaning their religious values. Get religion out of government. Let government respond to the will of the governed. Value all citizens and let them participate and enjoy the benefits of society, not just the special interests who have lobbyists. Hold politicians accountable.

Liberty. Fraternity. Equality. That's France's motto and they don't just say it, they live it.

Did you know that there are seven billion plus people on this planet, yet Earth makes enough food EVERY year to feed each and every person for 18 months.Yet,there's starvation in this world because governments are greedy. I would gladly support programs that provide free social programs.

I pray for a society that strives for the alternative. High budget on military equipment makes countries more paranoid of one another and may intimidate them into switching baby food for a gun.
