Not really. I prefer "Fred". Just kidding. Maybe as a nickname, but it's been difficult for me to deal with the name "Maura". If I had been named "Sunny" , the pressure would be on to have a sunny disposition. This does not include the boy name "Sonny". What a burden that would be. Wasn't there some Mafia movie with a person named "Sonny" in it? Say hello to my little friend, oops different movie.

My friend had a golden retriever named Sunny, so I usually think of her when I hear that name. But then there's Sunny von Bulow, who was allegedly poisoned by her husband Claus in 1980 and is still in a coma. But her real first name is Martha.
