I didn't get educated by Judy Blumes' books but I am old and her books hadn' been thought of. However I was a teacher and I saw many girls get their sex ed. by reading the book Forever! Judy Blume books are loved by girls all over the world and I hope all the readers of this site who haven't had the pleasure of reading them, will. Here's 2 sites about them:

Yes, I loved Judy Blume. She wrote all about the female teenage experience.

Don't think I read all of "Forever". Isn't that the one where she loses her virginity with her boyfriend, but then things don't work out, she starts liking another guy? If so I quit reading it, b/c it made me kind of sad. I loved, "Are you there God, It's me Margaret" and some of her many classics, like "Deanie" (the girl with scoliosis). Boy, Judy Blume. That author is a rite of passage. Thanks for the memories.

Nope, read prodigiously and finished with the kiddies' and teens' sections early; started borrowing books from the adults' section when I was nine, so got all the good stuff there

Yes, I read Forever and Wifey as a kid, along with all her other books. She was my favorite...I even played hookey from school one day to go meet her at a bookstore she was appearing at.
