most of the time, gut feelings, they don't look you in the eye, they are just plain acting strange...and when you know somebody has lied about things, they don't change!

No, you cannot.
You can't ever tell if someone is lying unless you know the truth and then you can only "tell" because you can test the statement against an objective reality. You can't go by tone or body language or eye contact or any such nonsense. Those can be clues, but you cannot rely on them with confidence. For example, a person who is nervous when they answer might be nervous because they are lying or they be nervous because they are afraid you think they are lying. I'm sure there will plenty of people insisting they can, but they are lying to themselves.
Trust me on this one, I'm not lying to you.

No, i assume people tell the truth. Lies will revielle themselves eventually without me having to search for them. I do not need to see a lie right away, (although some are obvious), because lies always show themselves.

Not always, but eventually the truth comes out, it may not be worth waiting for, anyway. On the other hand, you can't always tell for certain if someone is telling the truth.

If I KNOW the person YES I can tell if they are lying. If I don't know them I can usuallly figure them out within a few minutes. After I speak witrh them and ask a few questions.

Not always- but most of the time. TIP: look at their eyes, see if they can look at you without looking off somewhere else or see if they keep repeating themselves. That's how I tell.

No... but if they pause blinking or pause breathing or otherwise seem like they are examining your reaction to what they say, there is a good chance they are lying.

i heard that if someone is saying something and their eyes don't look straight at you, like they move around, then they're lying. but i'm not sure if it's true.
