Socrate & Aristotele for "LOGICA"

2006-07-15 14:10:16 · answer #1 · answered by Aredhel 2 · 1 1

From none of the Greek philosophers something was "missing"! They are what we consider perfect human!
The most influential is the one I consider THE ULTIMATE, THE GREATER TEACHER: Socrates!
After him, dozens of Academias and similar "Universities" were founded. Sciences were defined, arts were closer to people, etc.!

Aristotle. He formulized logic, named metaphysics, gave an account of causality. Made sense of the soul, theorized poetics, politics, and ethics.

Socrates and Plato really have no substantial positive theories in comparison. Except that the universal is the truly real, which Aristotle attempts to reverse but doesn't escape.
