If you refer to the "City" is the best in the world, nothing on the surface of this planet can compare with it. London is a farm compared with NY City.

Life in Southern NY, like New York City is fast paced. People are always on the go and there is always so much going on. The city literally never sleeps. You can go out at any time of the day or nite and do something fun. As for Northern NY life, people are slower paced and more at ease. Life in Northern NY is not so rushed. I have lived in Southern NY not far from NYC and I currently live in Northern NY. New York is awesome because you experience all 4 seasons and there is so much going on all the time. However, it really is very expensive to live here because the taxes are so high. New York is filled with so much culture and diversity, you really do gain much knowledge about other types of people living here.

Well, I live in New York City and everyone that visits me from other states say that its very fast and exciting with lots going on. They also find the buildings to be really tall, lol. Me personally, I find it all rather normal down here probably because I've been living here my whole life.
