It was similar to Lost horizon, only in this version every one in the valley was blind. A sighted man enters this valley of the blind and turns their Utopian existence on end.

You are describing a short story by HG Wells... "The Country of the Blind". I don't know of any movie versions of it, but it was presented on "The DuPont Show of the Week" in 1962 and on "Your Favorite Story" in 1953. Could have been one of those.
