Some of the stuff in it is a bit over-exaggerated, but it's definitely a good movie. Truly eye-opening.
Just for kicks, ask that question to a conservative. They'll probably say, "Michael Moore is a liar." Then ask them where he lies and enjoy the dumbfounded look they give you.
There aren't any lies in that movie. He published an entire "Movie Guide" with all the facts and sources just so people would shut up.
Michael Moore is awesome.

Before you swallow mister Moore's lies, hook line and sinker, also take a look at Fahrenype 911. Which is the rebuttal to the other film. It is good, there are interviews with both democrats and republicans and extensive interviews with other people, that expose some or M.M.'s trickery. He is a first class liar, which is too bad, because if he was interested in the truth, he would be a serious force for good. I only say this because he is obviously a good propagandizer, if only he was promoting truth!
Don't believe these people that say, "It only tells one side of the story." All real sides of a story are true, just from different angles. This is different, there are outright lies in this film, not just a different side!

The facts are not in dispute. In fact, he famously put a challenge on his website for someone to disprove any of his facts. So far no takers.
To be fair though, a lot of that film is opinion and speculation, but where the facts and figures are given, they are indeed accurate.
Every fact is backed up by source and you can find them all here:
http://www.michaelmoore.com/books-films/f911reader/index.php?id=16
The people yelling liar have yet to name one lie. Frankly I'm quite surprised there is so much hatred toward this film, especially from those people who haven't even watched it! You can't yell liar and fraud without even having seen it! Basically, people see what they want to see. Fahrenheit 9/11 is somebody's point of view. But backed up by fact. As I said, some speculation as to the REASONS behind some of these events, but they are facts nonetheless.
If these Lib-haters want to shout fake, let them come back with ACTUAL rebuttle and not brainless one-liners.

Since quite a few left-wingers around here love comparisons to Nazis so much, here's one for ya.
Michael Moore is the modern-day Goebbels, weaving lies, distortions, and clever misrepresentations of facts into a story that seems believable, if you don't dig too deep. However, I recommend a pair of sources that DO dig deeper into Moore's work, and expose him for the liar that he is. Check 'em out. Also, check out the site's spell check, won't ya?
Neddie: What have I told you about throwing around terms you don't understand? Please define "gravitas" for the class.

You believe everything Michael Moore has to say in that piece of trash? Do you understand that he is a liberal wacko (just as bad as a conservative wacko) and that he never represents any views other than his in his "work"? I am not a fan of what the US is doing militarily these days but to believe Michael Moore is to be a damn fool. You are a damn fool!!!

I haven't watched it. I don't intend to watch it. I'm not into "docu-mentals".
Based on your recommendation, I'm glad I didn't waste my time.
"Hay" probably should be "Hey".
"who all" is does not agree with any grammar rule that I know.
"belive" probably should be "believe".
Anybody that believes any documentary from any politically motivated director/producer/writer (left or right) probably has at least 50% of his or her "facts" wrong.
